At retirement

Your Scheme pension will be paid for the rest of your life and payments are guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years.

Pensions are paid monthly, directly into your bank or building society account.

You’ll receive a payslip every April and if your net pension changes by more than £1 during the year.

P60s are issued usually during April and we are only allowed to issue one P60. If you can’t find your P60 and require confirmation of the information held on the original P60, this can be provided by letter. You will need to contact the Scheme Administrator.

Income tax is deducted from your pension in the same way that it was deducted from your salary under the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system. If you have a query about your tax code, you will need to go directly to the tax office:

Write to:
Pay As You Earn and Self Assessment HM Revenue and Customs Chapel Wharf Area Trinity Bridge House 2 Dearmans Place Salford M3 5BS United Kingdom
Call:
0300 200 3300

Quoting reference: 951 / JA06544

You will also need your NI Number.

Equiniti are unable to change tax codes.

Change in circumstances

If you change your bank details, move house or there’s a change in circumstance, this could delay or prevent your pension from being paid. To make sure your records are up to date, please get in touch with the Scheme Administrator.
